During the Wandering the great tribes of the mortal races endlessly traveled the world exploring and discovering. Periodically the gods would join them – reveling and in their new creations. Great heroes were called upon, sometimes joined by the gods themslves, to help conquer the world – and even out the more dangerous and uneven corners and occasionally clashing with each other. For centuries, small bands and entire waves of migration filled the landscape, slowly settling into rough enclaves. A series of skirmishes (grandly called “wars” by the chiefs, warlords, and erstwhile kings), generally established the current populations – elves to the northeast, dwarves in the western mountains, and humans in the south.
It was 750 years ago when the elves founded the first city – Corrhys, that the Wandering came to an end and the Conquering began.
